Welcome back to my blog everyone and to any new readers of mine, welcome! So for this post, I decided to write 30 things I am thankful for. Of course, I can find way more things to be thankful, but the month of November only had 30 days and each day I posted on my Facebook platform what I was thankful for.
So here is my list….
- Life and to Have Made It Thus Far. I am thankful that God gave me life and have allowed me to make it this far. 2020 alone has been one for the books. What this year has taught me is to live life each day appreciating your family, friends, job, shelter, transportation, food… overall life period. #GratefulThankfulFaithful
2. God Allowing Me To Spend 28 Years With My Dad. I am thankful to have the years I did with my dad. There are some people that may not have gotten that many years with their parent(s), so I am definitely grateful to have gotten what I did before God took him back. He was the most selfless person and always wanted what was best for his family. I know he would be proud of the woman I’ve become. AND he always bragged on my cooking even though I can’t cook half as good as my mom lol. By the way, November 2nd was his birthday. : – ) #MissHimDearly
3. Opportunities. In November of this year, I was given the opportunity to join a community of Christian entrepreneurs, side hustlers and dreamers. Thanks to Author and CEO, Marlena Banks! She’s been a blessing. Only God led me to her. I’m looking forward to many more opportunities through God. : ) #BigIdeaFood

4. Knowledge, Wisdom and Spiritual Guidance. I choose not to go to just anyone for information, wisdom or guidance. My source is the Holy Bible, but God also leads me to the right people that can help me through Him. #GodIsTheMainSource
5. Faith, Hope and Love. The greatest of all three is LOVE. If you truly love God, you’ll have faith in Him. And where you put God in your life, there will always be hope. #FaithHopeAndLove
6. Sunshine and Fresh Air. Being outside will make you feel so much better mentally and physically when the temp is not too hot or too cold. I work indoors, but often I tend to go outside for a certain time on my lunch break. It definitely boosts my mood, gives me peace and allow me to feel God’s presence all around. #TheBestMedicine
Note: Please research the benefits of sunshine and serotonin levels. Low serotonin may cause depression, anxiety and a host of other psychological disorders.
7. Family. Family is everything to me. Always has been and always will be. #Fam4Life
8. Rest. This is something so many people need. Let me tell ya that Sometimes It Is Okay To Do Absolutely Nothing! Ms. Pajamas and Mr. Netflix are my friends for rest days! : ) #RestIsVital
9. Favor. If it wasn’t for the grace of God, I don’t know where I’d be or what I’d have. He has done more that what I deserve. #Grace
10. Gift of Discernment. The more you grow in Christ, the more discerning you will be. And no you will not always be right and know everything you need to know ‘on your own’. That is why its best to let the Holy Spirit lead you. This gift will protect you more than you know. #Discernment
11. God’s Protection. Whew! Let’s just say, I will not be able to survive in this world without Him. I’ve made many many mistakes in my past but since my relationship has gotten stronger with God and how now I tend to put Him in everything I do, He has definitely had my back. #MyStrongtower
12. Being Able To be a Blessing. One thing I have learned overtime is that if God has blessed you in something, it is not for your sole benefit. And if He gives much, He expects much. Whether its great faith, encouragement, a genuine smile, success, money or the Love of God & Light of Christ. Whatever you have, share with others. #BeABlessing
13. A Place To Call Home. I don’t have an actual house…yet. But I do have an apartment that I’m truly grateful for. It’s warm, cozy and my safe space. Sometimes I tend to look around my place and see what God has blessed me with and I couldn’t be more satisfied. #NoPlaceLikeHome
14. Food and Clean Running/Drinking Water. Food and water can come so naturally easy for some people. I definitely thank God for blessing me with clean water to bathe in, clean water to drink and ability to purchase food. #Blessed
15. My Mother. She’s my Mom, Mother, and Best Friend. I couldn’t have been more blessed with anyone else. Besides God, my mother always have my back. She tells me what I need to hear even when I don’t want to hear it lol. She always supports me in all that I choose to do and gives advice along the way. My mom is a big help even when I don’t ask for it. I wouldn’t have half of the essentials I currently have if it wasn’t for her. I definitely thank God for her all the time. He blessed me greatly when He gave me her. #BlessedDaughter
16. An Awesome Friend/Coworker . Get you a friend that you can talk God, purpose and life with. A friend that wants to see you grow as much as you want to see them grow. God put me and this particular coworker together for a reason. We both have learned so much individually and together. I thank God for all of my few friends. : ) #QualityFriendship
17. Christ Leading Me On The Right Path. With Him All Things Are Possible. #TheWayTruthAndLife
18. Peace of God. The peace of God is unlike anything this world can give. It is a truly amazing feeling when you can have peace in your heart even though it is problems on the surface. When you fully trust God, you’ll receive His peace. #GodsPeaceIsGoals
19. Promises of God. When worry, doubt, fear, anxiety etc. comes about, I knock them down with the Promises of God. I Know Who I Am, Whose I Am and How Much I Am Loved. #PerfectLoveCastOutAllFear
20. My Relationship with God. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t need Him. #Life
21. New Experiences and Meeting New People. I know what I’ve prayed for will come to pass. There are certain things that I have not done yet or certain people that I have not met yet, but FAITH. #IThankHimInAdvance
22. Stillness. I love being able to just be still. No working, no worries, just me resting in silence. #StillnessIsPeaceful
23. Being Reminded to Celebrate Life Everyday. Don’t wait until your birthday or holidays. Everyday that you wake up to see, find a way to celebrate. It could be something simple as showing gratitude. #CelebrateDaily
24. Being Able to Get My Car Fixed. The week of Thanksgiving, my car decided not to start. I instantly thought my starter went out. I did not stress, worry or panic. I just got it towed to the dealership and was able to get it checked and fixed. Come to find out, it was just the battery. Even though it put a dent in my actual plans, I thanked God I was able to pay for those charges. #Thankful
25. My Nieces and Nephews. I love all of them as if they were my own. Hopefully (If God is willing), I’ll be blessed with my own little people one day. Until then, I’ll be there Aunt Mom! ; ) #Family
26. Thankful to see Thanksgiving 2020. One Word… #Grateful
28. The Love of God. The type of love that set me free. #AgapeLove
29. Working heater during cold season. This day in November was so cold, I couldn’t go on without thanking God for a working heater. AC and Heat may come easy for some, but remember there are those that don’t have or its hard to get. Don’t take what you have for granted. #RecognizeYourBlessings
30. Good Health. My health may not be perfect, but I thank God to have eyes that can see, a nose that can smell, ears that can hear, a tongue that can taste, heart that can beat normal, lungs that can breathe on their own, hands that can work and legs that can walk. Blessings isn’t always about what God can give you, but rather about what He has already gave you. #CountYourBlessings
