Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog and to any new readers, welcome to Girl On A Mission Blog. I am always on a mission to encourage the discouraged, give hope to the hopeless and spread light in this dark world.
This post is a bit different, but since I am a writer and have many quotes of my own, I decided to share some encouraging ones with you all. Lets jump right on in!
Words For The Soul
Taking time to be with God is the best place to find strength to press on.
Do what you can and let God do the rest. He never said that you had to do life alone.
There’s a reason for every season and some seasons are harder than others. In those seasons, learn how to love and trust God through it all. In due season, you will reap a harvest if you don’t give up.
Having Jesus in your life doesn’t mean that you won’t have any storms. But it does mean that you will have PEACE through the storms.
If God feeds and cares for the birds of the air and dresses the flowers so beautifully, would He not care for you? You are more valuable to Him than you know. Inspired by Matthew 6:26-28
Overthinking and over-worrying will take away your peace. It takes away your time you should be spending with God. How can you find meaning, understanding, purpose and/or direction if you are too busy "thinking" or "figuring it out" instead of sitting still an letting God speak to you? Every so often I find myself trying to figure things out and I have noticed that it takes away my joy. So, I get myself back in check, Lord knows I know better, and tell God all my concerns. Just like a baby feels comforted, loved and safe in its parents arms, I feel the same in the Presence of my Heavenly Father. I can't see Him physically, but I feel His spirit with me. "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." -John 14:27 You can't find peace in the midst of your troubles if you're trying to do it all on your own instead of leaning on and trusting God.
Those waters may be deep but….Jesus Walks On Water. He will be with you.
God can turn your MESS into a MESSAGE and a TEST into a TESTIMONY. Now is not the time to give up.
Just because you can’t see it doesn’t mean that it hasn’t already be done. Walk In Faith.
Don’t give up on God because He won’t give up on you.

P.S. If you are wanting to get closer to God, open your Bible daily and have conversation with Him daily. When you read your bibles, don’t read out of obligation but rather intent. Be intentional with learning God and having a relationship with Him. In John 1:1 it states: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God.
For those that have not accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior to all, today is a good day. Each day is a day of salvation. Yesterday is gone and tomorrow in not promised. Roman 10:9 states: If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord”, and believe in your hearts that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. To Believe is to Obey.
