Jesus, The Way To The Father

Hey ya’ll! It has been a hot minute since I last posted. I took some away to help plan my family reunion and was doing a few other things. But….I am ready and willing to get back to what I love and what God has for me to do.

So this post today will be what I spoke on at my church last month. Some people didn’t get a chance to make it and I want to definitely put the message out there for all to read and gather the good news.

" Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

But how can they call on Him to save them unless they believe in Him? And how can they believe in Him, if they have never heard about Him? And how can they hear about Him unless someone tells them?

And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is what the Scriptures mean when they say 'How beautiful are the feet of those that bring good news'?"

- Romans CH. 10:13-15

My mission is all about Christ. I am His ambassador and God gave me the assignment of being a Christian Blogger/Writer to bring souls to Christ through writing. I can and will fulfill that mission in other ways along side God, but He knew that there are a select few that will read and reread His message…the good news… the way, the truth and the life!

If ya’ll are ready to read about the amazing Jesus, keep scrolling!

In the Book of John chapter 14, Jesus was talking to His disciples about where He was going.

Jesus said “Don’t be troubled. You trust God, now trust in me. There are many rooms in my Father’s home, and I am going to prepare a place for you. If this were not so, I will tell you plainly. When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. And you know where I am going and how to get there.“

His disciple Thomas said “No we don’t know, Lord. We haven’t any idea where you are going, so how can we know the way?”

Jesus responded “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.“

Jesus Is The Way

Nowadays you have many people saying different things regarding how to get to heaven. There are many people that don’t believe that Jesus is the only way. Then you have the ones that always want God to bless them without having to follow Jesus. They want to know the way without the Waymaker. They want the promises of God without the Promise Keeper. They want peace without the Prince of Peace. They want to get out of the darkness without the Lighthouse.

Oh, and then you have the people that set and follow religious rules. When I was in high school, I had to write an essay on religion. As I was researching which one I will write on, it occurred to me that out of all of them I researched, barely any of them was truly about Christ. They had more rules than anything and they went something like this: You gotta do this, you gotta do that. You can only eat this, you can’t eat (especially on certain days). You gotta wear this, you can’t wear that. I’m sure you all get the drift.

But what did Jesus say? I AM THE WAY. Every knee will bow before Him. If any of you think that it’s about works or just believe that you don’t have to take up your cross and follow Him, then you are calling Him a liar. Last time I checked, Jesus is the Truth that will set you free from sin and eternal death.

For it is by grace that you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is a gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9

Jesus Is Truth

There are so many different religions and teachings in the world today, but don’t let people of the world fool you. Jesus is the ONLY Truth that can and will set you free.

Free from what?

Free from whatever the devil has you bound by.

Do you need to let go of stress? Worry? Are you so scared of what may come in the future that you’re killing yourself slowly in the present? Note: Stress is the root of many health conditions.

Oh, what about that pride? We all have had some pride in our hearts and it is the number one deadly sin because pride leads all other sins. That is why God said to humble ourselves before the Lord. For humility is the opposite of pride.

Jesus can also set you free from greed, hatred, envy, lust, gluttony, drunkenness, wrath, sloth, adultery, idolatry, witchcraft, selfish ambition, and any addiction that you may have. Some people turn to sage. But it is only Jesus that can drive away those demons.

You don’t have to live your life in anxiety. You don’t have to live depressed. When you get rooted in grounded in the Word(the truth), you will know that you can and will press on.

Once I was blind, now I can see. The devil thought he had me, but Jesus in all His glory came and grabbed me and set me free. Free to live the life He died to give me. - Monique ST

Jesus Is Life

Jesus laid down His life, so we could have everlasting life. He said the devil came to steal, kill and destroy. But what did Jesus come to do? Give us life and give it abundantly.

When people hear the word abundance, they think about big fancy homes, a whole of money, brand new cars and anything material they can buy.

But spiritual abundance is quite different. Now it is nothing wrong with having a fancy house or thousands or millions of dollars in of itself because the more you have, the more you can give.

But…Jesus did not lay down His life and rise on third day, so you can sit in a fancy house and still be miserable. Jesus did not die and rose again on the third day so you can have all that money and still be broke. Note: I’m talking about spiritual brokenness. Only in Christ is where you are made new, whole and complete.

Thing is, people put their identity, worth and value in things they possess. They think they are a somebody because of the things they have. But without Jesus, you are only a body walking dead. But I have good news for you. It is Jesus that came to give you Life.

When Jesus said that He came to give you life and give it abundantly, He meant things that money cannot buy. Things that only comes from Him. Those things are Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control.

Jesus did not die for you to stay a slave to sin. He did not die so you could be worried about tomorrow. He did not die so that you could live in fear. He did not die so that you could live your life stressed. He did not die so that you could have restless nights and joyless mornings.

“Come to me, all who are weary and heavy burdened. – Jesus

Do you want to be set free from the bondage of sin that is holding you back from experiencing the amazing grace of God? If yes, then you can right not accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Ask Him to forgive your sins and turn away from your sinful lifestyle by having faith in Jesus and choosing to follow Him and obey His teachings.

If you want God to work in your life and show you your purpose, have His peace, joy and rest, then choose this day who you’re going to serve.

Don’t worry about yesterday, that day is already gone. Don’t worry about tomorrow, that day is not promised.

Jesus is The Way to the Father. The Truth that will set you free. Good God Almighty. He is the Living Water, Our Daily Bread and Life Everlasting.

Question is…are you willing to receive Him?

The Question…”Am I Not Sending You” is convi The Question…”Am I Not Sending You” is conviction and comfort rolled in one.

It’s a conviction, because God has proved time and time that He loves His people and can be trusted. It’s a comfort because knowing that we have Him to lean on for all that we need to pursue and succeed in our callings.

When you need encouragement, remind yourself of what God asked…”am I not sending you”?

Fear does more harm than good. Actually it does no Fear does more harm than good. Actually it does no good. I’m not talking about being fearful of a snake, spider etc. I’m talking about the mental fear.

You being afraid to try new things, due to the possibility of failing.
You being afraid of taking risks, due to the probability of making mistakes.
You being afraid of being set apart, due to the likelihood of losing some friends and family.
You being afraid of applying to a new job or asking for a promotion because of the fear of not feeling good enough.
You being afraid of asking someone out due to the possibility of being rejected.

All of those things and more alike are mental fears.

You never know unless you take a step.
You never know unless you try.
You never know unless you ask.

Confession: I, too would like it if God told me all of the steps and answers before moving my feet, before putting myself out there. But that’s not how it works.

It is when you take a step in faith, He will lead and guide you. And even if you do turn on the wrong path, He will come get you and put you on the right path.

Say NO to worry and fear.

Although there are times when we do wait on God, b Although there are times when we do wait on God, but there are a lot of times when God is waiting on us. He gives us sign after sign, gives us all we need and yet we don’t move our feet. Most times, out of fear of the unknown, fear of making the wrong decision, fear of not knowing everything etc. But…

No more!

I’ve been working towards a few things that God has placed on me and even though I’m not fully there yet, its a start.
