As I said in part one, the Holy Bible is a life manual. If you have not read Part 1 of my Favorite Scriptures, you can read it here.
It is always best to memorize Scripture because the Word of God is the most powerful weapon you can use during spiritual attacks from Satan. Even Jesus used the Scriptures’ against Satan during His time in the wilderness and the devil fled.
Here are 10 more of my favorite Scriptures. I will also list where to find them in the Bible and what version I used.
1. Psalm 23 KJV "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me besides the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. 2. Psalm 27: 1-3 NLT " The Lord is my light and salvation - So why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble? When evil people come to devour me, When my enemies and foes attack me, they will stumble and fall. Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will not be afraid. Even if I am attacked, I will remain confident." 3. Psalm 27:4 NLT " The one thing I ask of the Lord - the thing I seek most - is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord's perfections and meditating in his temple." 4. Isaiah 43:2-3 NLT " When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, the flames will not consume you. For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior."
6. Galatians 6:9 NIV "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." 7. 2 Corinthians 12: 9 & 10 NIV "But he said to me "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.". For when I am weak, then I am strong." 8. Exodus 4:12 NLT "Now go! I will be with you as you speak, and I will instruct you in what to say." 9. Proverbs 31:25-27 NLT "She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future. When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness. She carefully watches over everything in her household and suffers nothing from laziness.
