Hello my dear readers, family and friends! It has been quite a minute since I last posted, but I’m back and ready to start writing again!
For my very first post of 2021, I decided to write about the grace of God, something that we all need but only a few has received. In order to live victorious and not defeated, you need to have God’s grace.
First, lets define what grace is.
What is grace? Grace in biblical terms is the unmerited, undeserved, unearned kindness and favor of God.
Who is grace? Jesus Christ, the savior of the world.
What Is Grace
It’s very hard to talk about grace without including mercy. In the above Scripture, God portrays both grace and mercy when he sent his Son to save his fallen creation from eternal death that we deserve because of our sins.
The difference in grace and mercy is that grace is the unconditional love, undeserved kindness and favor of God while mercy is withholding punishment that we do deserve. They both go hand in hand.
Grace is a free gift that only very few seems to receive. Why is that? Is it because others don’t know about it? Is it because they were told they had to do many things to reach that kind of favor? How about not believing their sins will be forgiven?
I want you all to know that the grace of God is for everyone. Just like it is undeserved, it is also unearned. I also want to let you know that His grace is bigger than your sins. Society tends to put levels on sin (that could be a whole other post!) and that is why some people think they will neither receive it or they have to work for it.
Dear friends, let me give you the Good News. Jesus came so that each one of us can have salvation(deliverance from sin and its consequences) through faith in Him. We don’t have to work for it because Christ is the one and only true atonement for our sins.
How To Obtain Grace
Simple. By having faith in Christ.
To receive this free gift of grace, one must humble themselves, confess their faults and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Jesus is the embodiment of grace.
You cannot expect God to have grace(favor) in your daily life when you refuses to accept His Son Jesus Christ.
The benefits of accepting this gift will be listed below! But first let look at what NOT to do if you want God’s grace.
How Can A Person Miss Out On God’s Grace?
By thinking that they don’t need God. By thinking that they are much better than others. By thinking that they make no mistakes and never sins. By leaning on and trusting in self instead of having faith in Jesus Christ. And/Or…by believing that their sin is far too great for God to ever forgive and do not deserve the goodness of God. Yes, truth is, you don’t deserve His Grace but…You Are His Child That He Dearly Loves and Wants Back.
Don’t let Satan stop you from living a victorious life by not receiving this gift of God.

P.S. If you have the love of God living in you, please spread it to others. If you have light, shine it on the ones living in darkness. If you have wisdom and knowledge from the Holy Spirit, teach others the Truth. And if you have been saved by grace, go and tell others about the baby that was born in Bethlehem.
