Hey Ya’ll, welcome back to my blog. To any new readers, welcome! Lets get started. It has been a good minute since I last posted. I believe the end of September to be exact was the last time.
I made up in my mind a few weeks ago that this next blog post will be dedicated to my niece. She has been recommending it for a while now. When I confirmed this, I did not have all the words or knew exactly what I was going to say. I could always tell someone to simply “Trust God “, but some may ask “How”? That will be discussed more deeply on Pt. 2.
First, I want to share something personal with my readers.
Trust God With It All.
Thing is, it’s not that I have never dealt with stress because I most definitely have. I’ve also dealt with anxiety and depression. And…I overcame all three. Since the time I chosen to rededicate my life to Christ, I really don’t stress too much. As soon as worry come about, I dismiss it with the Word of God.
But recently certain emotions stayed a little longer. My circumstances brought worry and doubt. More worry then anything though. I realized on Oct. 24, 2020, God is having me go through my current problems for a few reasons. One of them being a test of faith. Another reason, He had to bring me down so I can lift someone else up. Sounds crazy right? But nah, it’s just God working in His mysterious ways.
Truth is, He knew that I couldn’t deeply help someone by simply saying “trust God” because some things are much easier said than done. I did ask Him to help me with this post. I just didn’t know that His idea of helping was to give me circumstances to where I had to lay it all down and trust only in Him. Trusting Him is not the problem, but putting our whole trust in Him is what a lot of people struggle with. That’s because giving our total trust means not having no control.
O You of Little Faith
On my blog, I want to be real, relatable and honest. What I’m about to write is not for pity, but to show you how God works.
For the past month it has seemed like I just can’t make ends meet. Pay one bill, another one rolls around, bill after bill. I started to feel like I can’t come up and stay up. At one point, I had no choice but to lay it all down because I didn’t have nothing else to give besides my faith.
I never doubted God’s love for me through any of this because I’ve been through worse and He brought me out. I did question His timing. There were days that I would just sit and imagine how and when God was going to answer my prayers. But all along, He’s been giving me visions in my mind of things He needs and wants me to do with my ministry. He’s been giving me visions of certain companies that I may work with and ideas to take notes of. So while I was thinking “I just can’t seem to come up” , God is already where He is about to take me if I hold on and not grow weary.
He had to remind me one day that if I can’t be faithful with small things then I won’t be faithful with greater responsibilities. So Walk In Faith My Child. He had to let me know that everything is already taken care of. Pray persistently, pray in faith and don’t give up.
This is a test of faith that I’m determined to pass. I will continue to Walk in Faith, Walk in Love, Walk in Light, Walk in Truth and Walk in Obedience.
That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life – whether you have enough food or drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? – Jesus
Matthew 6:25:27
Encourage your brothers and sisters in Christ and lift them up.
When I chose to surrender to the Lord and told Him to “LET HIS WILL BE DONE“, I also told Him to help me to help somebody. I have made it a habit during morning prayer asking God to show me or let me know who I can help and how I can help them that day.
Despite my circumstances and struggles, I still choose to build others up. Why? Because That Is What Jesus Would Do. And also because I already have a relationship with God our Father through Jesus Christ our Savior. So I choose to let the Holy Spirit lead me to help those that are still lost, broken, confused, weary, hopeless etc.
Light And Love Is What The World Needs Right Now.
Stress and Worry Does Not Add A Single Hour To Your Life.
Questions to ask yourself: What do you gain from stressing? When you overthink and consistently worry, does it make your problems go away or make them worse? Do you gain understanding or confusion? Does stressing give your more hours in a day or takes away from time that you could spend being happy, joyful, peaceful and at rest?
Scientifically speaking, constant stress can cause many illnesses in your body. Now I’m no doctor but there are too many references that proves that stress can cause things from headaches, stomach aches, infections, lowered immunity to high blood pressure, obesity, depression, heart disease and much more. It can also age you faster.
Spiritually speaking, constant stress can cause you to lose hope, have no faith and always doubt God’s goodness. Why? Because you are looking at your problems instead of looking toward the problem solver.
Jesus promised that if you will lay your burdens down, He will give you rest. Stress isn’t worth shortening your life over and it’s definitely not worth losing it. It does not add to your life. It takes away from it.
I encourage you all to let that dark spirit of stress go and let God deal with what you cannot. I promise you that it will feel like weights being released from your shoulders.
Thank you for reading and if you find this helpful, please share!
Note: Part 2 will speak more deeply on how to trust God through stressful times.
Love and Blessings, Monique ST
God’s Word
”Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.” – Proverbs 3:5
“Don’t worry about anything; instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:6-7
“Come to me all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.” – Matthew 11:28-30
“I am leaving you with a gift – peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give isn’t like the peace the world gives. So don’t be troubled or afraid.” – John 14: 27
Note: I used New Living Translation version for the Scripture in today’s post.

You’re welcome always seester! Always keep God’s Word instilled in your heart. Trust me, you will always need it. I’m just grateful that I am able to spread encouragement through God’s Word.
Oh and I like how you stated “chapter”! One day, my words may be turned into a book. I have talked to God about it. Only if it is in His Will for my life.
